Kosmo Kint’s sound fuses the grit and soul of his native New York with the heady, free-spiritedness of
Berlin’s house scene. A purveyor of soulful electronic cuts, he weaves between uplifting disco and
house to American R&B, soul, and hip hop. He’s cementing his place in the scene with releases like
‘Love Songs’ - a collab with British duo Prospa on Circoloco Records - hitting 3 million Spotify streams
in just 4 weeks, holding the No. 1 spot in Beatport’s overall Top 100 and House charts, entering Radio
1’s Playlist + Dance playlist and being Danny Howard’s Hottest Record on Radio 1’s Dance Party.
Born to Trinidadian parents in New York, he grew up surrounded by the rhythm and cultural vibrancy of
Carroll street, Brooklyn. With his grandfather being one of the pioneers of the steel pan, Kint has been
tapped into music from day one. He’d attend New York's prestigious Professional Performing Arts
School, followed by studying at Boston’s New England Conservatory where he’d train as an opera
singer until the age of 21. Early in his career as supporting vocalist he was up there with bonafide icons
- from Elton John to Alicia Keys and Wynton Marsalis.
